Dimraeth Platforms: Windows PC Only, PS5 and Switch Unconfirmed
Dimraeth is confirmed for Windows PC via Steam only. PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch and mobile are unconfirmed, and Steam Deck is developer-supported but not Valve-rated.
The only confirmed platform is Windows PC via Steam, and the store page lists no Mac or Linux build. On consoles there is nothing confirmed at all: the official FAQ says “at this time, we don’t have confirmed plans for console releases. We’re focused on delivering the best possible experience on PC first.” So PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch are unconfirmed, not “coming soon”. Steam Deck is the one target the developer explicitly supports, but as of 14 September 2026, Valve has not published a compatibility rating, so those two facts need keeping apart.
Platform status matrix

| Linux | Not available | The store page lists no Linux build | 2026-09-14 |
| Steam Deck | Developer-supported, not Valve-rated | The official FAQ and developer replies confirm support; Valve has not published a compatibility tier | 2026-09-14 |

| PS4 | Unconfirmed | Same | 2026-09-14 |
| Xbox | Unconfirmed | Same | 2026-09-14 |
| Nintendo Switch | Unconfirmed | Same | 2026-09-14 |

Steam Deck: developer support is not a Valve rating
These two things are often conflated but come from different parties:
- Developer support. The official FAQ says Dimraeth launches on PC via Steam with full Steam Deck support. A 2025-10-20 announcement says base combat was already running on the developer’s own Deck and that full controller support was planned before the demo. A developer reply on r/dimraeth confirms Deck support at launch with in-house units used for testing.
- Valve’s rating. Valve’s Steam Deck compatibility page still shows no tier for the game, which means none of Verified, Playable or Unsupported has been assigned.
What that means for you: the developer’s commitment is credible, but “has Valve verified it and how does it run on default settings” is unanswered, so check hands-on reports or test it yourself after launch.
Why search results show PS5 and Switch pages
Searching for Dimraeth surfaces IGN game entries, console store stubs and aggregator pages. Those simply mirror the game’s metadata; they do not mean a port has been announced. The reliable check is the official website, the official FAQ, developer announcements, and the store page for that platform if it is maintained by Mudtek.
The same applies to mobile: search results include a TapTap page labelled “Android/iOS APK” and a Softonic download aggregator, but the developer has never shipped through those channels and has never confirmed a mobile version. Do not touch any APK or “downloader” — see download and install.
Controller and input support
The official FAQ lists three input styles:
- Keyboard and mouse, for precision and speed;
- Gamepad or controller, tuned for comfort and immersion;
- WASD plus mouse hybrid, for a mix of both.
The Steam store page’s feature list backs that up: full controller support, DualShock and DualSense support, plus Steam Cloud, Steam Achievements and Family Sharing.
One limitation worth noting: there is no local or split-screen multiplayer. Co-op is online and peer-to-peer for up to eight players with one host, so “can two of us play on one console” has no corresponding feature in the current design.
System requirements (checked 2026-09-14)
| Item | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 | Windows 10 or 11 |
| Processor | Intel Core i3 (4th gen) or AMD equivalent | Intel Core i5 (6th gen) or AMD Ryzen 3 |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GTX 750 / AMD R7 260X (or integrated Intel UHD 620) | GTX 1050 Ti / RX 560 or better |
| DirectX | 11 | 12 |
| Storage | 5 GB available space | 10 GB available space |
| Network | Broadband internet connection | Broadband internet connection |
The store page notes that the minimum spec runs on most modern laptops and desktops, and that the recommended spec targets smooth performance on modern mid-range PCs. Requirements can change during Early Access, which is why the date above matters.
If you do not have a gaming PC
There is no workable alternative path right now: no console version is confirmed and no cloud or alternative storefront has been announced. Your options are to follow the Steam news hub and official Discord for console news, and to avoid any third-party listing offering a “console pre-order”, a redemption code or a shared-account purchase.
